While at the store today, came across some mulled wine mix. We haven't had mulled wine since Susanne, an intern from Germany, stayed out our house. It was a great treat while she was here, and we hadn't made any since she left, which is a shame. When I saw this mix, I snapped it up.
So here's the mix, and I grabbed an old bottle of cabernet that we had sitting around...
...heated the cabernet up...
...added the spice and stirred it in...letting it simmer a bit longer...
And ladeled it into mugs...Mmmm....good stuff...great for the holidays!
