Things that made me happy this week...

A couple of things happened this week which really made me happy, both of them involving space...in a sense.

"Space...here I come!"

First, Stephen Hawking got to experience zero gravity...something very few of us will ever get a chance to do...and he looked like he had a great time. Way to go, Dr. Hawking!

The Final Frontier...

James Doohan, Scotty from Star Trek, had his ashes blasted into space via a suborbital rocket today. RIP, Scotty...we miss you.

Yeah...I just KNEW it...

Alas, the end of another hockey season has come...and I make my trek up to the stadium...

As I walk to my seats, I look out the window...interesting view...

All the better when you go outside those doors and look out at the magnificence that is the Everglades...

...which later is overcome by smoke from a dumpster fire set by some jerk who flicked his cigarette into the dumpster...
