A visit with Mickey!

At the last minute yesterday, we got a ticket to go to tonight's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas at Walt Disney World. They sell only a limited number of tickets to it, and they close the Magic Kingdom early in the day and then 'do it up' for the holidays and re-open it in the evening. They have a special holiday parade, a special holiday fireworks show, 'snow' on Main Street, free hot cocoa and cookies and take a free family portrait. It's lots of fun, and we've done it for several years...but didn't plan on going this year. Until now.

The Christmas tree near the entrance at Main Street. Crowds were light tonight, thanks to a threat of rain. And the temperature was just right...slightly cool. It made for a great evening!

The ORIGINAL Pirates of the Caribbean!

(Looks like they had a fog problem as well...)

Mickey! Minnie!

My favorite part of the holiday parade...the toy soldiers!

Y'know...I hate running into people from South Florida when I travel...

The castle...with snowflakes!
