Pictures (Part 6 - The Day After)

The next day. 24 hours since the storm. What type of day is everyone waking up to?

Not that bad of one. It's cool...approximately 59 degrees, and a cloudless sky. Looks like a good day to keep cleaning up, etc.!

The north view...on a regular, BEAUTIFUL day...

An example of the damage our Accord sustained. This is only one area. I'm not going to bore you with the rest.

And here's the van...very similar...

Our neighbor's laundry...

And it being retrieved after it's dried...

The tree has been cleared; we can get out that way now...

But this tree still blocks the other direction.

One of our cats, chilling out. She's an old, but extremely smart cat. We keep her indoors, but she is allowed to go outdoors, as she knows how to stay nearby.

The view before...

The propped up fence section, and the dismantled other section...

Another view of the propped up fence. It's pretty solid now.

And the view afterwards. You don't see the lake from the street as much as you did before. This is how it 'normally' was...for the most part.

Dinner time! Burgers on English muffins, with spinach, pickles, ketchup, mustard and mozzerella cheese! Yum!

I believe these were ibis flying overhead. They have the hooked beaks that makes me think that's what they were.

A blackbird up in a tree.

Another beautiful sunset...

And another one from my favorite view...no clouds tonight!

Twilight after sunset...
