Hurricane preparations

If there's one thing that South Floridians have learned to do with a hurricane...it's shutter their place up. By shuttering, I mean placing plywood or steel/aluminum storm panels over windows or doors, closing their accordian shutters (I fall into this category) or having their roll-down type shutters rolled-down. If it can be shuttered or paneled, it will be done. You'll find people shuttering their dog houses. If they could, they'd panel up their cars.

Next to my office, there was a small army of workings putting up the storm panels all day today. As you can see, the result is this.

They're going to work on the police car next.
